"For the last thirty years, I suffered from chronic, oftentimes debilitating, lower back problems as a result of several athletic injuries. I constantly endured one unsuccessful form of treatment after another with no end in sight.
When I met Dr. Specht in November of 2018, I had been unable to go to the gym for nearly 1 and ½ years and was about to miss my first year as a professional race car driver. Within a few short weeks of undergoing Dr. Specht’s treatment and wellness program, I quickly began to see results. Progress continued over the coming months, allowing me to live pain-free and complete my racing season without interruption.
When I initially decided to visit Dr. Specht, I was simply trying to find a treatment that would ensure I was “well-enough” that I could, at minimum, continue pursing my passion for racing. The reality, however, is more than I could have hoped. Dr. Specht’s program has transformed my life. Before his program I was living with unremitting pain to various degrees and had ultimately become accustomed to living with it. Now, I predominantly live free from pain or discomfort. I can’t thank Dr. Specht enough for everything he has done for me. I am forever grateful!"

"To Whom It May Concern,
Fourteen years ago, I became very ill. Suddenly, I was experiencing a lot of muscular pain throughout my entire body. My left hip was so painful that I had lost most of my mobility and could only walk just the smallest steps. Climbing stairs was almost an impossible task. I could lift my left foot only the minimum amount necessary to clear the step and it was extremely painful. I could not sit for any extended time either so that riding in a car and airplane trips made the spasms worse. I do not know how I made it though the day because I did not get very much sleep at night. As soon as I would lay down the throbbing pain started in my hip. I had been an athlete my entire life so when this happened to me I was devastated. I had never been physically challenged in any way. I thought that I was not exercising enough so I increased my activity level. I was taking over - the- counter anti-inflammatory products believing that those would make me feel better. My condition got worse.
I went to my physician at Scripps Clinic for treatment. I had not yet discovered the benefits of chiropractic care. I was treated with stronger anti- inflammatory products and I was referred to the rheumatology department for cortisone shots. I was told that I had fibromyalgia. The drugs and the shots provided some relief but they did not provide long- lasting relief. I still had not found the source of the problem. The drugs gave me such horrible vivid nightmares. I was hallucinating. Then two significant events happened to change the course of my life forever. The first event involved the injections.
I was going on a trip across the USA. I needed cortisone shot and sleeping pills to get through the long plane ride. The rheumatologist who saw me said that I should reconsider getting the shots because eventually they would destroy the muscle tissue in my low back. I listened to her advice and I gratefully thanked her for her honesty. I never again had another cortisone injection.
Secondly, I was a physical and emotional disaster. I thought I was at death's door because the course of treatment that I had chosen offered no solution. I was 40 years old, a wife and a mother of two pre-teenaged children. I was self-employed as a designer and manufacturer of women's clothing. I could not do all this without good health. I was losing hope. My personal physician at the time told me that he thought I was mentally ill. The day that he said that to me I left his office never to return and never again did I take anti-inflammatory drugs or injections of any kind-not even an aspirin!
I was so angry because I had put my trust in a system that caused my health to deteriorate even further than when I started out searching for a cure. I thought for sure that the end of my life was near. I could not stand the pain. I could not find the right help. I felt like I was dying. A friend suggested that I start seeing a chiropractor for treatment. I admit that I was skeptical. After all, I had never been to a chiropractor and no one else could help me. What would be so different? I did not know what to expect and I was afraid of the unknown. The choice I made that day changed my life in a most profound way.
Over next two years, I improved greatly with holistic care and major lifestyle changes that I learned with the chiropractors that treated me. I started reading more about how I could improve my condition using alternative healthcare treatments and given the right components, my body started to heal itself. Now I was making healthier choices for my family and myself. I could sleep again and I became stronger. More years passed and I had relief from most of the daily pain but I still had this nagging pain in my left hip. I was encouraged by the improvements that I was experiencing so I continued to learn more.
One day, while reading Allergies: Disease in Disguise by Carolee Bateson-Koch DC ND, I discovered something that connected with me. I saw the name of Dr. Scott Walker in Encinitas as the originator of something called the Neuro-Emotional Technique. This sounded powerful to me. I was intrigued by the opportunity to try something new. The idea just clicked in my mind that I should pursue this."
When I called for the appointment, Dr. Walker was out on a teaching tour and would not return for sometime. The young lady, who answered the telephone, was Brenda Specht. She told me that in Dr. Walker's absence, her husband, Dr. Andrew Specht could help me. And he did! Dr. Specht found that I needed some additional structural adjustments. He found that the pain in my left hip was related to an emotional component. After the unique chiropractic adjustment that I received that day, I no longer had pain in my hip. I have not ever experienced that pain since that day. That was six years ago.
Sometimes events in our lives are so powerful that they not only stay with us in our conscious memory but they also stay in our subconscious and manifest themselves as physical trauma. In his research, Dr. Walker found a way to access the source through very simple and logical methods based on the principles of acupuncture theory and chiropractic care. During the appointment with Dr. Specht, the Neuro-Emotional Technique that he used helped me to remember the emotions that set the trauma. It was so simple. I could hardly believe it. So many times, I have returned to him for help with other issues both physical and emotional. Over the years, he has used the Technique to help me many times. Each time, the result that I experience just reaffirms to me how remarkable this form of treatment can be. Neuro-Emotional Technique is a vehicle that allows your mind and body to release trauma. It helps you to break free from the barriers that might keep you from being the best you can be.
Dr. Specht is gifted and caring. He has continued to help me restore my health. I no longer have fibromyalgia and my health is better now than I can ever remember. He has helped every member of my family and some of my friends to improve the quality of their lives and improve their well being. Through his excellent skills as a Doctor of Chiropractic and his proficiency as a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Emotional Technique, Dr. Andy Specht can help you improve the quality of your life.
It is with the deepest appreciation that I thank you Dr. Specht for your many years of dedicated service to my family. Thank you for being the best you can be!"
"I had two herniated discs in my lower back in April 2001. The consensus from the MD community was that my days of running and lifting weights were over, and that I should start getting used to the rocking chair. I almost bought into that, until Dr. Specht convinced me otherwise.
Over the course of the next several months, Dr. Specht’s work got me back onto my favorite running trails and into the weight room. In December 2005, I applied for, and was accepted as a “Federal Game Warden”. I didn’t realize it at the time, but it meant attending a very physically intense 18 week training program at the “Federal Law Enforcement Training Center” in Georgia.
Dr. Specht’s advice prior to heading back east was to use “The Stick” and “Posture Curve” religiously. After the second day of training, I was convinced that there was no way my lower back, and the rest of me, was going to hold on for 18 weeks of the physical pounding I was taking.
Remembering Dr. Specht’s advice, I began to use the Stick and the Posture Curve a dozen or so times a day. They did the trick. I am absolutely convinced that without them, I would not have made it to graduation. Their ability to warm-up, relax, and keep my back in check was truly remarkable. I highly recommend both to anyone."
"I recently developed a condition which causes occasional swelling and painful stiffness in my knee. I have the earthing pad on my mattress and experience some relief from pain and inflamation when I awake every morning, however, this knee pain is so severe that I wanted to concentrate and accelerate the healing process as much as I could. My husband deserves the credit for coming up with the following home treatment: I wrap the small earthing pad around my knee at night, gently “tie it on” with a strap so that my knee is completely covered while I sleep, and put the ground (in the single ground part) of the outlet in the wall. The reduction in pain and inflamation that I experience every morning after 6 or so hours of this consistent and total coverage earthing (being grounded) touch is amazing!
Along with regular visits to Dr. Specht, this treatment has cut my healing time in half."
"Dr. Specht is the best chiropractor I have ever been to, and I am not just saying that. At a time when I thought my right arm and shoulder would never be the same from working with computers for so many years, he was able to use some very advanced techniques to alleviate the pain and discomfort, and in effect, heal my trauma. No other Chiropractor I had been to in the few years prior, had really been able to make a difference, much less a difference as great as this. He is truly gifted with the ability to heal. I don’t know where I’d be without him."
"My shoulder had never been the same since an auto accident I had in June 2006, due to the fact that a few weeks later, I had my first child and had many other priorities to address with Dr. Specht at the time. I had also been avoiding exercise and I knew that played a huge roll in completing my recovery. So finally, in February 2011, I started to exercise my shoulders. I must have done something wrong the second time I did the shoulder exercises because my shoulder felt tweaked. A couple of nights later, I woke up at 4:30 in the morning with severe pain in my left shoulder and couldn’t go back to sleep. I immediately got on the cancellation list to see Dr. Specht.
The pain was so bad that on that day, I could barely get my younger child in or out of the car. That night, I woke up in severe pain a couple of times; the following afternoon, I was able to see Dr. Specht. He said I had a bruised tendon and we also couldn’t rule out the mild possibility that I had a tear. There were times during the first two weeks when the pain was so bad that I was tempted to take pain medication (so glad I didn’t – I have severe reations to most pain medications). Over the course of the next 2-3 months, Dr. Specht helped me by reactivating many muscles, giving me supplements for inflammation and mold exposure (the inflammation and mold exposure aggravated the pain of the injury), and treating the organs that have meridians that go through the area. Some of the treatment even involved the emotional therapy called NET. (See an explanation) To compliment what Dr. Specht was doing, I had some massage and laser treatments by Alex Blanchard (in the office). And now, just three months later, I have experienced a full recovery and have a fully fuctional shoulder, back to what it was before the accident five years ago.
It’s just so amazing to me that even after being a patient of Dr. Spechts’s for over 10 years, I continue to learn something new about how the body functions and can heal, and more importantly thrive, without surgery or prescription medications. I am way healthier and more energetic going into my 40’s than I was in my 20’s. I’ve made many adjustments along the way, and I’m sure there are more to make, but it’s all worth it!!!"
I was referred to Dr. Specht through a family member. It was a wonderful experience and I’d like to share it.
I have always had problems with my lungs. I was experiencing bronchitis every two months. Two of my children had asthma. Adam, 15 at the time, was also having a bloody nose on a daily basis. I went to Dr Specht with both kids in tow and hoped he could help.
Right away he diagnosed that we all had a yeast infection. He explained that yeast likes to live in the moist places in the body and was likely the reason we were having problems with our lungs. We were instructed to change our diet, eliminating all foods that cause yeast to grow. He tested us to see what supplements to take to kill the yeast and we all started right away. Within 2 months we were yeast free. To this day, none of us have asthma, or any problems with our lungs. In fact, those extra pounds went away, along with the bloat associated with it. It’s rare for any of the 3 of us to even get a head cold.
Adam was instructed to take Flax Seed Oil for his bloody nose and that became a thing of the past as well.
The thing that sets Dr. Specht apart from any other doctor I’ve ever known is that he treats you physically, emotionally, and internally – all of this in a natural way. He helped me and my kids and not just temporarily. It was permanent. I haven’t seen Dr. Specht in 5 years due to moving away from the San Diego area, but I still feel grateful for the positive things he did for me and my children. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d gladly look him up and would recommend him to anyone I met that needed help with any health problems.
Thanks for listening,"

"So, I am one of “those people” who had started and stopped many exercise programs. Since having two children, exercise (other than chasing them around) was something that I put on the back burner….after all, I was at least as busy as everyone else, how could I find the time or the motivation? On a few occasions, I even had N.E.T. about exercise – (N.E.T. explained). A few months ago, it finally clicked. I was turning 40. In my 30’s, I had worked hard to get my diet on track and had seen the awesome results in energy and overall health. One more N.E.T. session, specifically about running….and I was off and running!
The Sprint 8’s recommended by Dr. Specht (and on the Mercola web site – see explanation) are so much fun….even on days when I have to make myself go. They are also FAST ! 20 minutes and I’m done…with a nice little walk to the beach and back…I like to do the sprints on the beach with bare feet, and even though I used to have problems with my knees, they have not bothered me at all (I use the famous “Stick” before and after).
I’ve even lost weight and wear skinny jeans again – like I used to in high school in the 80’s. Thank you Dr. Specht for not letting me off the hook about my exercise!"
"Dear Dr. Specht,
I would like to thank you for the excellent care and treatment I have received from you and your staff over the last month. I have experienced some real miracles, if I may use that word. I originally sought your care in the treatment of a nagging neck pain that had taken away much of my simple mobility with regards to rotating my head to check my blind spots while driving, and making just sitting and sleeping uncomfortable. I also have had heel-spur pain, but had been treated in June 2002 by a reputable podiatrist. I had only mentioned the condition (heel-spur) on my medical evaluation form.
After the first treatment for my neck I noticed immediate mprovement- I have been to Chiropractors before but I think that your methods for diagnosis and care were unique and very effective. When I had come to you I had made up my mind to let you treat me in your best methods. A good friend had referred me saying, “Dr. Specht will treat your whole body- not just align your spine.” I wasn’t too sure how to take that but I am happy to say that you do, and you have. My neck is no longer an issue in my day to day life.
The podiatrist I had seen in June of 2002 had made me some custom orthotics, which did relieve much of my heel spur pain that had kept me awake at night, and had side-lined me from much of the physical activities like aerobics and swimming; even driving had become a painful event in my daily commute to work. I suffered for over a year before I finally found some relief from the pain through the custom orthotics. When you had mentioned that you have a better form orthotic that helps correct the foot alignment I wanted to get some- after only two days I was having pain again that had kept me awake and like retreating from a hot flame I was going to return the ones I had purchased from you and I had told you “these are hurting my feet, I cannot wear these.” To my surprise you said something like, “non-sense! You have to try and give them a chance, your problems with your heel are being caused by your alignment and unless you correct it, and not cradle it like your expensive orthotics do- you are going to develop even more potentially worse foot problems.” Dr. Specht, you then began to show me how my calf muscles were potentially the root of all my pain in my heel and foot.
I was astonished when after performing the recommended exercises a few times each day, that not only am I able to use the orthotics without discomfort, but that I am regaining a feeling in my legs and feet that I have not had in years. That is why I used miracle in my early comments. I never thought I would find a solution for my foot problem, let alone one that is so simple and non-medicated. The exercise sticks (“The Stick”) are so great!
In closing, I would like to offer some words of advice to those fortunate enough to find the care of Dr. Andrew Specht D.C. Be open and honest about how you are feeling, work with him in your treatment, and do all that he recommends. I have taken advantage of the great supplements that Dr. Specht’s office has to offer, and take advantage of “The Stick”. Don’t be surprised if you have other symptoms like sore throat and colds as the toxins are being released form your muscles and organs. As I have said to Dr. Specht on a few occasions- “I have gotten religion!” He has enabled me to not only feel better, he has shown me a way to get healthier and stay that course throughout the rest of my life. I think that is what we all would expect from a medical professional- unfortunately, medical friends like Dr. Specht are far too rare in my opinion. Did I mention that he is a great person too? Thank you Andrew for all you have done- which has truly help me.
"Hi - Dr. Specht has been our family doctor since 1993. During all these years, he has done much more than helped all of us through occasional back ailments. He helped Sara get through shin splints so she could continue running track at high school. He fixed Kellen's calf muscle so he could high jump in CIF finals last year. When Gail sprained her ankle and the doctors wanted to operate, Andy got Gail off crutches and back to normal without surgery. When Paul had carpal tunnel problems, Andy fixed that too. All this from one doctor - not bad!! Perhaps the greatest influence Andy has had on my whole family is the overall feeling of good health.
Before we met Andy, we all went to a family MD and took antibiotics for colds and flu symptoms (like most folks). Never Again!! The vitamins that Andy gives us helps everyone in our family deal with sickness, the stresses of life, traveling, sports, and, of course, trying to eat as best as we can. When people say, "What's your secret?" we smile and tell them all about Andy. We wish more people would listen to our story!!

"How Dr. Specht’s Treatments Have Changed My Life
I was first introduced to Dr. Specht by my boyfriend about 13 years ago. At the time I had a terrible case of TMJ. I was taking at least 8 aspirin a day to lessen the pain of my aching and cracking jaw, and I could barely open my mouth to eat. It sounds like a great diet plan, but it was horrible. I had spoken to a few dentists and other doctors who all told me I needed surgery, and the results were not guaranteed. There was no way that I was going to take those risks, so I had resigned myself to the fact that pain was just going to be in my life forever.
My boyfriend told me I should go see Dr. Specht, but I fought the idea for months. How could he fix a problem that everybody else said required surgery to repair? So I continued to suffer… and resist the idea of treatment.
To make a long story short, the pain was getting to be so intense that I agreed to try Dr. Specht. I hate to be wrong, but in this case it was a pleasure. In only 2 visits, the TMJ that had tortured me daily was gone. He stuck his thumb in my mouth, dug around for a few minutes, and voila, I was pain-free. In the 13 years since there has only been one instance where I felt a little twinge of pain in my jaw again, so Dr. Specht treated me right away and it disappeared.
TMJ was the problem that first brought me to Dr. Specht 13 years ago, but since then he has treated me (and my family and friends) for several different issues from car accident-related neck and back problems to marathon training to job-related anxiety, and so much more. As a matter of fact, neither my husband nor I have been to a traditional “medical doctor” in the last 13 years. We haven’t had to. Dr. Specht keeps us in tip-top shape!
With gratitude to the Doctor and his staff,"
"During one of my visits to Dr. Andrew Specht, I had mentioned my oldest son grinds his teeth, and that he also had a hole on the bridge of his nose. Was there something he could do to help him? Dr. Specht said he could test to see if it was an emotional or structural issue for the teeth grinding. As for the hole on his nose, he would also see what he could do to heal it.
The results were such that with one visit, my son no longer grinds his teeth, and the hole on his nose had begun to fill in like it was healing and the infection was going away.
Now the interesting part of this is, that I had taken my son to our family dentist for the teeth grinding. They had tried rubber mouth peices, chewing gum, eating hard veggies and hard fruit before going to bed, in hopes of tiring out his jaw. Nothing had worked.
My son had been grinding his teeth since he was about 5 years old. Finally, 10 years later, after many mouthpieces, severe headaches, many sleepless nights…………..after one visit to Dr. Specht, my son at age 15 no longer grinds his teeth! The hole on his nose, which he had been born with, had always been infected. The doctors said that it would heal as my son got older, or they could do surgery on it. Finally, there was also some closure to that.
My son is now 18 and the damage to his teeth has stopped since he no longer grinds his teeth.
I have challenged Dr. Specht with many different medical problems over the years and he always, always heals.
Thank you ever so much for all your healing.
"Dr. Specht is a cut above other chiropractors in my opinion. I am a mid-thirties, athletic guy and I came to Dr. Specht originally because of problems I was having in my Achilles/calf area. After I would play soccer the area would clench up and take 1-2 weeks to fully relax again so I had stopped playing soccer. I had previously gone to see another chiropractor about the problem and he had treated me by trying to massage and adjust my ankles. After 3 months and few results I thought I may be done playing. Dr. Specht, however, identified and worked on specific muscles that were not functioning properly and negatively affecting the area. After just a couple of treatments, following simple advice on diet, and following his advice on caring for specific muscles I was and am playing soccer regularly and feeling very little of the previous symptoms.
Also, I had not played tennis for many years because my shoulder would bother me when serving. It would occasionally bother me when surfing as well. I had been told by a medical doctor that the only solution he could offer was surgical and it could relieve the pain but it would not be beneficial for the function of the shoulder. Again, Dr. Specht’s precise diagnosis proved invaluable. He identified specific muscles that were not functioning properly and the result of the first treatment was dramatic. I am now serving and playing tennis, and surfing pain-free. I also recently had pain in my upper forearm/elbow area that he totally alleviated in one session. Again, I followed faithfully his prescription of care for muscles that were affecting the area.
I come in for maintenance once in a while without specific problems because his spinal manipulations are second to none and great for my overall wellbeing. He has become a good friend and I greatly value and respect his comprehensive and very practical knowledge of the human body, health, and athletic performance.
Mr. Kim J.
"I had a nagging groin/hip flexor problem for many years. It wasn’t always injured, however, it would consistently be an issue throughout my playing career. The first time I pulled my hip flexor, I was a sophomore in high school. I did the standard things for a pulled muscle. Took some time to rest. Iced after workouts. Was careful when warming up. Icy hot, long slow runs, good stretch…. etc. This seemed to work well enough to get me back out there. I eventually went on to play at Stanford. Was healthy most of the time, but still occasionally had problems with my groin/hip flexor.
In my junior year at Stanford, my hip flexor started giving me serious problems. It seemed like the injury had moved slightly upward to my lower stomach area. Doctors at Stanford were telling me that it could be a hernia. I continued stretching a lot and icing whenever I worked out. This helped slightly, but the problem was not going away. I was down in San Diego over the summer. I was supposed to be doing intervals and building up fitness for the fall season. This is when I went to see Dr. Specht. A
family friend of mine said that if anyone knew how to fix chronic, sports-related injuries, it was Dr. Specht. I figured it was worth a try.
This was the last summer I ever had problems with my hip flexor, groin, or lower stomach area. Over the course of about two months, I met with Specht many times. Apparently, (I know it sounds weird) I had a dozen of muscles that were “turned off.” I had many muscles that were no longer working and the surrounding muscles were compensating and doing most of the work. This is what Dr. Specht was able to discover and fix. Through some rather strange means, he was able to test the muscles to find the ones that were not working and turn them back on. I know this sounds bizarre, but it really worked. The treatment consisted of acupressure, back and neck adjustments, deep tissue massages, and NET. It was not the standard treatment I was getting at Stanford, but it actually worked. I hope this helps."
"Over the course of 2 years, I saw every type of doctor imaginable to help me with my knee and back problems. None of them were able to help me with my problems or even provide me with temporary relief. I had given up my active lifestyle and figured I would have to get used to living with the pain.
Then I met Dr. Specht.
Two different people recommended Dr. Specht and even though I had already given up hope, I figured I could try one last time. I was curious about him since I kept hearing his name from different people. To my surprise, I felt better starting with my first appointment. Dr. Specht relies on several different methods to treat his patients and even though I don’t completely understand how they work, I completely understand how I feel.
Now I am back to 100% and feel better than ever. I’m playing soccer and racquetball again and for the first time ever I’m training for a half marathon!
Thank you, Dr. Specht!"
"My name is Anthony Putrus and I have been a patient at Dr. Specht’s office for about 5 years now. I was referred to him by my brother when I hurt my lower back playing soccer 5 years ago. The doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me, so they put me in physical therapy for three months, but that didn’t do anything and the pain was so bad that I had to do something fast so I could get back on the field.
I ended up going to see Dr. Specht and after the first visit I felt a little better but I wasn’t sure if it would work because I kind of gave up hope, but I gave him a chance and kept going back. After the third visit, the pain was almost gone and I was able to practice. By the 5th visit I was able to compete again. Ever since then, I have been telling anybody that I know from sports or other places that have had some injuries that they need to go see my doctor. I will never go to another doctor for any injuries again.
Thanks, Dr. Specht"
"I started jogging with San Diego Fit back in July (2002). Initially, I thought it was recreational running and I felt it would be a great way to meet people and keep fit. As the miles began to get longer I realized that I was training for a marathon. Well, so I thought, “Why not?”. I have never been much of a runner other than running on my treadmill. As the miles continued to get longer, I started to feel pain and discomfort in my legs. After the 15.5, mile run, I was extremely sore and postponed running for a few weeks. At this point, I went to see (another) chiropractor for help. It resulted in a whole slew of issues and a treatment plan that was time intensive and not helpful after some time.
About a month later, some friends of mine came down to San Diego for a conference. My friend is a practicing chiropractor in Canada and he was here to learn and apply the Active Release Technique in his clinic. He told me that I should not be going so frequently and the problem should have been fixed within a few visits. He advised me to go to the ART website and find a local chiropractor with level 3 credentials. This is how I came to know of Dr. Andrew Specht.
I started to see Dr. Specht and got immediate results. I was so concerned about not being able to run the San Diego marathon in January because of the pain that I was experiencing. With his treatment plan, I successfully completed the marathon slowly but surely. I was so happy to report that the next day I was not as sore as I thought I might be. I followed his advice and actually saw him the day after the marathon and resumed activity within a few days.
I continue to see him and see continual improvement in my performance in my physical activities (i.e. running and cycling). I am so impressed with his ability and what he has done to improve the quality of my life. I am taking my children to see him and getting them assessed for any fails that may have adversely affected them. He is not only a chiropractor to me, he is a healer. His hands are magic.
Thank you, Dr. Specht.
"I started seeing Andy in December 1999. My parents had met him at a Christmas party at one of my neighbors. At the time I was a freshman at UCSD and pitching on the baseball team there. I had hurt my arm pretty bad, to the point where I could not straighten it out. I really wanted to pitch for my school that year and not have to sit out, so I decided to go and see Andy for help.
At first, I was very skeptical about what he was doing, but immediately after my first visit, I saw and felt great results (I was able to straighten my arm again). So I continued to go to him for the rest of the year. I ended pitching for my team and was voted by my teammates' Most Valuable Pitcher.
Throughout my college career, I continued to see Andy and reaped the benefits of a healthier body, arm, and mind. Andy then introduced me to N.E.T. (Neuro-Emotional Technique) allowing my mind and body to become mentally healthy and strong, allowing me to push myself to new limits when I was pitching (i.e. throw harder, faster, and longer.)
If it wasn’t for Andy, I might not have had the opportunity to pitch at my University, which led to me being drafted by the major league baseball team, the Arizona Diamondbacks in June 2003. I continue to see Andy to this day so that I can maintain a higher level of health for my mind and body so that I can perform at the professional level. With Andy’s past help, I look forward to his help in the future so that I can continue my career with the Arizona Diamondbacks."
"I was introduced to Dr. Specht by my husband and in-laws. Over the years, I’ve seen the effect that he has helping them live a healthier and pain free lifestyle. In July of 2009 my husband and I were pleased to announce the pregnancy of our first daughter. I made an appointment with Dr. Specht to have him test specific vitamins and skin care products to ensure the safety and proper nutrients for my unborn daughter. Throughout my entire pregnancy, I felt wonderful and never experienced any morning sickness or complications. I am certain that Dr. Specht’s influence has created a beautiful and healthy baby girl.
Our daughter was born in March of 2010. Three weeks after her birth we noticed she was very uncomfortable lying on her back and cried for endless hours at night. Being extremely concerned parents, we felt that she may be in some kind of pain or discomfort. We were very concerned with SIDS as well. Dr. Specht was very sincere to our needs as concerned parents. He evaluated our daughter and allergy tested various formulas and breast milk.
Dr. Specht made adjustments to help ease our daughter and ensure there wouldn’t be any concerns with SIDS. Needless to say, we noticed a huge difference in our daughter’s demeanor. She no longer cries for endless hours at night and she is very comfortable being placed on her back. With every toothless smile and giggle we thank Dr. Specht. I would highly recommend every expectant mother and new mother visit Dr. Specht."
"When seeing the improvements in my own health as a patient of Dr. Andrew Specht, I decided to take my children to see him as my son developed a severe skin rash all over his scalp and ear that seemed to get progressively worse over a 24 month period. After visiting several children’s physicians, an ENT specialist and a dermatologist, the condition continued to worsen. None of the topical creams, shampoos, etc. seemed to work and the rash was becoming unsightly and irritating my child.
After 1-2 visits with Dr. Specht, my son’s skin condition markedly improved and is now. Through diet and proper vitamin supplementation, we saw marked improvement within just two weeks. This has been a great relief for us and for our son who is no longer bothered by itchy ears and scalp and flaking.
Dr. Specht also helped with our daughter who has been a picky eater since her early toddler years. Dr. Specht provided us with diet tips and vitamin supplements that have brought the rosiness back in her cheeks and the overall clean bill of health she receives at yearly checkups with her pediatrician.
